A plain-English explanation of what this questionnaire collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Why this research exists

We are trying to understand what people genuinely want to improve in their lives, what gets in the way, and whether practical guidance, accountability, shared experiences or meeting like-minded people would help. This is market research, not a product we are selling. Nothing you tell us commits you to buying anything.

What we collect

Your answers to the questionnaire: your age range, the areas of life you would like to improve, a description of your main goal, what you have already tried, what makes progress difficult, whether you have spent money on this, where you currently find support or connection, and what kind of help would be useful. Contact details are only collected if you choose to offer them.

Your contact details are optional

You can submit the questionnaire anonymously by answering "No" to the follow-up question. If you do offer your first name and email address, they are used only to arrange a possible follow-up conversation about this research. They are not used to add you to a marketing list, and we will not use them for unrelated marketing.

How your answers are used

Answers are read to understand which challenges matter most and whether a useful service is worth building. We report and share findings in summary form only. Individual responses are never published, and we do not identify you in anything we share.

Who can see your responses

Responses are stored in a private database with access restricted to the research organiser and people they authorise. The public site never displays individual responses, and there is no public list of submissions.

How long we keep information

Responses are kept only for as long as they are needed to understand the research question and decide what to do next.

Your choices

You can stop at any point before submitting. If you submitted with contact details and would rather not be contacted, ask us to remove them and we will. Where data-protection rights apply to you — including access, correction, erasure or objecting to processing — you can exercise them by contacting the research organiser.

Retention period and organiser details

Two things still need to be confirmed by the person running this research before it is put in front of the public, and they are marked here rather than filled in with a guess:

Organiser legal identity: to be confirmed before launchOrganiser contact email: to be confirmed before launchRetention period: to be confirmed before launch
